This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Meet or surpass the annual revenue objectives for the West territory, which includes California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada, by utilizing relationships to deepen engagement with existing accounts and seeking out new accounts in the research and development and manufacturing sectors.
• Drive new business initiatives in the small molecule arena in alignment with our market focus, operational capabilities, and laboratory resources.
• Identify and capture opportunities through face-to-face meetings and virtual presentations.
• Collaborate effectively across the organization to promote and advance business opportunities.
• Leverage experience to mentor team members within the Inside Business Development group.
• Proven experience in sales for a service-oriented company within the pharmaceutical industry, such as CDMO, CRO, or CTO.
• Recent experience with field travel and conducting in-person client meetings.
• Strong scientific knowledge and the ability to acquire new technical information swiftly.
• Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive demeanor.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences or business administration.
• A minimum of two years of experience in bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management within the contract services sector of the bio/pharmaceutical industry and/or testing services.
• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.
