This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Meet or surpass the annual revenue goals for the West territory (California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada) by utilizing relationships to deepen engagement with existing accounts and seeking new opportunities in the research and development and manufacturing sectors.
• Drive new business initiatives in the small molecule sector that align with our market focus, operational strengths, and laboratory capabilities.
• Identify and secure new opportunities through both in-person meetings and virtual presentations.
• Collaborate effectively across the organization to move opportunities forward.
• Leverage experience to mentor team members on the Inside Business Development team.
• Proven experience in sales for a service organization within the pharmaceutical industry – including CDMO, CRO, or CTO.
• Recent experience with field travel and conducting in-person client meetings.
• Strong scientific understanding and the ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
• Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive outlook.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences or business administration.
• A minimum of two years of experience in bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management within the contract services sector of the bio/pharmaceutical industry and/or testing services.
• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without any restrictions or sponsorship.
