This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Achieve sales performance, brand key performance indicators (KPIs), financial goals, and marketing objectives to meet or surpass targets.
• Develop a precall strategy utilizing SMART objectives and conduct postcall assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Skillfully manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently guiding discussions towards logical and actionable conclusions to secure sales.
• Actively strive to understand and address customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and create mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and its clients.
• Formulate and implement a call strategy that meets designated call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency with key customers to enhance access and sales potential.
• Continuously enhance knowledge regarding customer requirements, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, product details, and clinical insights, sharing this intelligence with the infield team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment, anticipate changes, and refine brand strategy execution.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers and cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with disease state experts and advocates to maximize brand performance.
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success in sales and strong presentation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive factors, recognized as an expert resource by relevant stakeholders.
• Solid business acumen and proficient in utilizing business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proactively recognizes customer styles and behaviors, quickly adapting the sales approach accordingly.
• Works effectively within a matrix organizational structure.
• Proven success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred for all non-English speaking countries.
