
Business Development Manager – Penetration Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead new business sales for Web Application Penetration Testing
• Network Penetration Testing
• Security Testing for Cloud & Infrastructure
• Testing for API & Mobile Applications
• Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, IT Managers, and Heads of Risk & Compliance
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline through cold outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and partnerships
• Comprehend client environments and suggest suitable pentesting solutions
• Work alongside security consultants to establish scope, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Create proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
• Foster long-term relationships to secure repeat testing engagements on a quarterly or annual basis
• Monitor and report on sales performance utilizing CRM tools
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance standards
• 3–6+ years of experience in B2B sales within IT or cybersecurity
• Demonstrated experience in selling penetration testing or vulnerability assessment services
• Solid understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and common security vulnerabilities (such as XSS, SQL Injection, etc.)
• Familiarity with basic pentesting methodologies
• Preferred experience with Australian clients
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Capability to translate technical offerings into clear business value
• Strong skills in prospecting and closing (hunter mindset)
