
Business Development Manager – Neuromodulation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will take charge of creating and executing strategic business and market development initiatives aimed at sustainably enhancing therapy adoption across all neuromodulation product lines (CPT, DBS, DRG, RFA).
• Formulate and implement national market and partner development strategies in Germany and Austria within a highly regulated Class-III environment.
• Identify, assess, and capitalize on new strategic growth opportunities in forward-looking markets.
• Establish and nurture sustainable, long-term relationships with key customers, clinical decision-makers, and senior-level external stakeholders.
• Enhance clinical care pathways by integrating clinical, economic, and commercial viewpoints.
• Oversee and prioritize strategic marketing investments to optimize therapy adoption and market influence.
• Develop business cases, market and competitive analyses, and generate actionable strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate effectively across functions with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Clinical, and external partners – without having disciplinary line management responsibilities.
• Conduct continuous performance monitoring, reporting, and derive measures to meet targets.
• Represent the company at national and international congresses while actively contributing to the national go-to-market strategy.
• A completed university degree (Bachelor's required, Master's preferred), ideally in a natural science or business-related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in business development, preferably within the medical technology sector (active implants).
• Robust experience in business development, market development, sales excellence, or similar strategic roles.
• Demonstrated capability to independently develop and execute complex strategic initiatives in regulated markets.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, coupled with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking.
• High level of seniority and influence to lead cross-functional initiatives and sway stakeholders without disciplinary authority.
• Exceptional personal responsibility, decisiveness, and resilience in complex market scenarios.
• Willingness to travel frequently (> 60%), with flexibility and readiness for intensive field activity in Germany and Austria.
• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
• A valid Class B driving license in Germany.
