This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Identify and establish external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and other structured transactions.
• Spearhead the development and presentation of business cases for prioritized external opportunities, providing recommendations to the management team backed by thorough analyses, key assumptions, and risk assessments, along with necessary internal and external insights.
• Initiate, lead, and present external opportunities with minimal supervision.
• Oversee cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, collaborating with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance, and in some cases, act as the primary business development contact.
• Monitor business development operations and transactions, including proposals, TS developments, negotiations, deal closures, and alliance management.
• Assist in defining and updating the business development and licensing strategy to align with overall corporate and portfolio strategies.
• Represent Biocytogen at industry, investor, and partnership conferences, fostering and maintaining relationships with a diverse array of participants in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical science field.
• Robust background in antibody drug discovery, with a comprehensive understanding of target validation and hit-to-lead optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex biological data (affinity, specificity, and in vivo efficacy) and effectively translate it into a persuasive therapeutic and licensing narrative.
• Knowledge of current antibody modalities, including monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), bispecific antibodies, and ADCs.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities to align internal scientific platform strengths with gaps in pharmaceutical partner pipelines.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English, capable of bridging communications in global R&D and business contexts.
