This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Identify and establish external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and other structured transactions.
• Oversee the creation and presentation of business cases for prioritized external opportunities, providing recommendations to the management team based on thorough analyses, key assumptions, and risk assessments, along with necessary internal and external insights.
• Proactively initiate, lead, and present external opportunities with minimal supervision.
• Drive cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, coordinating efforts with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, and executive reporting, occasionally serving as the primary BD contact.
• Monitor BD operations and transactions, including proposal development, TS advancements, negotiations, deal finalization, and alliance management.
• Assist in defining and updating the business development and licensing strategy to align with overall corporate and portfolio strategies.
• Represent Biocytogen at industry, investor, and partnering conferences, fostering and maintaining relationships with a diverse array of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry participants.
• Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical science discipline.
• Solid background in antibody drug discovery, with comprehensive knowledge of target validation and hit-to-lead optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex biological data (affinity, specificity, and in vivo efficacy) and convert it into a persuasive therapeutic and licensing narrative.
• Familiarity with current antibody modalities, including monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), bispecific antibodies, and ADCs.
• Strong strategic thinking skills to align internal scientific platform capabilities with the pipeline gaps of pharmaceutical partners.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English to effectively facilitate global R&D and business communications.
