This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Identify and cultivate business relationships with new prospects and explore new groups within current accounts.
• Engage with management-level decision makers to formulate new agreements and enhance existing business connections.
• Organize customer visits with Eurofins Discovery scientists and specialists.
• Keep precise records of all sales and prospecting efforts, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the designated territory.
• Ensure that transactions and orders from customers to Client Services/Technical Scientific Support teams are accurate and complete.
• Attend and engage in training sessions as requested by the company.
• Maintain an accurate sales forecast that must be updated weekly.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or higher in a relevant life science field (preferably Pharmacology, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry).
• At least five years of proven technical sales experience or its equivalent.
• Strong understanding and experience within the preclinical CRO market.
• Proficient in discussing scientific concepts in the local language (Japanese).
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• A self-motivated individual who is results-driven and has a demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales tasks and strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to respond effectively to scientific inquiries and swiftly connect with the appropriate internal contacts.
