This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities in international markets.
• Generate a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting methods such as cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and collaborating with partners.
• Research target accounts, recognize key stakeholders, and initiate engagement with decision-makers and C-level executives.
• Qualify both inbound and outbound leads to ensure robust opportunity development.
• Create mid- and long-term strategic account plans to penetrate new markets and accounts.
• Manage and advance opportunities through the entire sales cycle to successful closure.
• Prepare and present customized product presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions to comprehend customer needs and showcase product value.
• Collaborate with channel partners and strategic alliances to enhance the pipeline.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
• Provide customer and market insights to product, marketing, and leadership teams.
• Work closely with marketing to optimize outbound campaigns and automation initiatives.
• Maintain precise CRM records and manage pipeline forecasting.
• Track sales metrics and performance targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Implement structured sales methodologies to advance opportunities through the buying cycle.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, SaaS sales, or international technology sales.
• Demonstrated success in generating a pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
• Strong consultative selling and strategic account planning capabilities.
• Experience in selling complex or technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Highly motivated "hunter" mentality with resilience and determination.
• Capability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar).
• Technical curiosity and the ability to grasp industrial technology solutions.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Utilities, Automotive, or industrial sectors is advantageous.
• An existing network within manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English required.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
