This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Drive the acquisition of new business and foster revenue growth within the insurance industry.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, brokers, and stakeholders.
• Identify new sales opportunities and transform leads into enduring partnerships.
• Conduct discovery calls, client presentations, and engage in consultative sales dialogues.
• Build and oversee a robust sales pipeline while meeting KPIs and sales objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer outcomes.
• Utilize CRM systems and contemporary sales tools for effective workflow management and reporting.
• Remain up-to-date on insurance products, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Represent the organization professionally in all client interactions.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager or in a comparable sales-oriented role.
• At least 1 year of experience in the Australian insurance industry.
• Strong foundation in insurance sales.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Professional, polished, and self-assured client-facing demeanor.
• Strong sales mentality with a proactive, "hunter" approach.
• Tech-savvy, with experience in CRM systems and sales tools.
• Quick learner, capable of adapting to new products and processes.
• Highly self-motivated, dedicated, and results-oriented.
• Strong organizational and pipeline management abilities.
• Experience working with Australian clients or in the Australian market.
• Background in a broker/intermediated insurance environment.
• Familiarity with HubSpot and Winbeat is advantageous.
