This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Formulate and implement the business development strategy for the Midlands and North UK.
• Take ownership of the territory prospect base, sales pipeline, forecasting, and territory planning.
• Assess inbound and self-generated opportunities based on commercial, technical, and strategic criteria.
• Facilitate customer meetings, site discussions, and commercial presentations.
• Convert customer security, operational, and budgetary requirements into strategic solutions and value propositions.
• Organize proposals, presentations, and commercial submissions.
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients while identifying cross-selling, upgrade, and partnership opportunities.
• Maintain the CRM system, pipeline, and forecasting data.
• Track territory projects, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Provide commercial updates, highlight risks, and suggest actions.
• Represent Gunnebo at trade shows, industry events, partner meetings, and customer visits.
• Travel frequently throughout the Midlands and North UK.
• Establish territory strategy, target-account plans, and prioritize customer, partner, and influencer networks.
• Develop and sustain a high-quality pipeline capable of ongoing growth.
• Ensure opportunity momentum, accurate forecasting, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Lead strategic discussions with customers and convert priority opportunities into profitable orders and enduring relationships.
• Proven track record in business development, pipeline creation, customer relationship cultivation, and acquiring new business.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in generating opportunities, opening new accounts, and steering commercial discussions.
• Strong organizational skills and commercial discipline.
• Capability to manage multiple complex opportunities and competing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, technical, projects, service, and commercial teams.
• Understanding of customer decision-making processes, procurement channels, and stakeholder influence.
• Resilience, enthusiasm, and sound judgment.
• Experience with developers, architects, consultants, contractors, facilities management providers, system integrators, or security integrators is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn about Gunnebo’s products, services, customer sectors, and competitive landscape.
• Strong motivation to achieve results and contribute to the broader UK sales strategy.
