This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Drive new business expansion by leveraging ABB Drives AVL (authorized vendor lists) status and GFA (Global Frame agreements) established at relevant end-user Food & Beverage production sites.

• Collaborate closely with Channel Sales, Channel Program, and OEM Team colleagues to develop and support Food & Beverage initiatives that foster strategic engagement and new business development with aligned Channel Partners.

• Record customer stakeholders, purchasing behaviors (local authority vs. CAPEX/Project approval process), corporate objectives (specific focus areas within their business concerning applications), identify customer projects, and pursue ABB opportunities.

• Effectively communicate strategies for new business growth through product positioning and solutions to capitalize on ABB status within customer AVL or GFA.

• Utilize understanding of industry trends and customer demands to create and present compelling value propositions.

• Lead sub-segment strategy execution and define go-to-market strategies to meet the growth objectives of the Food & Beverage segment.

• Provide support and insights to the global Food & Beverage team on a quarterly basis, sharing US market trends and activities, and incorporating feedback to adapt localized strategies that support ABB's Global Food & Beverage objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience with capital assist sales in the industrial Food and Beverage sector and industrial equipment applications such as centrifuges, separators, mixers, shredders, grinders, hammermills, and related equipment and processes are required.

• Familiarity with low voltage Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motors, and associated equipment, as well as their application solutions for industrial equipment utilized in F&B sub-segments like Protein, Dairy, Ingredients, Grains, Beverages, Soups, Snacks, and Baked Goods.

• Proven track record in evaluating and analyzing customer needs and projected requirements, providing application solutions by interpreting, translating, and conveying detailed technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency in Salesforce.com usage, including experience, credentials, skills, and exposure.

• Established domain expertise in subsegments and applications within the industrial F&B sector, demonstrated by published white papers, membership in industry subcommittees, and recommendations for industry standards are highly preferred.

• Proven success in achieving new business growth by leveraging AVL (Approved Vendor List) product specifications from clients.

• This position requires up to 70% domestic travel across all regions of the US, necessitating a valid US Driver’s License.
