
Business Development Manager – Excipients

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Strategy formulation: You will actively create growth strategies for the Excipients product area, leveraging an established customer base, existing market insights, and long-standing relationships with manufacturers.
• Collaborative interface: As the connection between Product Management, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing, you will ensure seamless collaboration and manage project coordination.
• Sales assistance: Provide technical support to the field sales team during customer meetings, coordinate projects, and conduct product training sessions.
• Supplier liaison: Manage coordination and communication with strategic partners.
• Reporting responsibilities: Prepare and deliver reports in a timely manner, including analyses and recommendations for action.
• Representation duties: Represent Th. Geyer at trade fairs and industry events.
• A degree or completed vocational training in a scientific discipline, such as Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
• Practical laboratory experience is preferred.
• Background in sales or product management, ideally within the excipients sector.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and preferably familiar with CRM systems.
• Excellent German language skills and good proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%), primarily within Germany, with occasional travel across Europe.
• Passion for sales and engaging with customers actively.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities, along with analytical thinking skills.
• Exceptional coordination capabilities, a confident demeanor, and an ability to work independently.
