This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Identify and create new business opportunities throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Andean Region, including Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Chile.
• Foster growth with OEMs and major end users in the Transformer, Electric Vehicle, Industrial Motor, and Generator sectors.
• Establish and oversee a robust pipeline of business opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts.
• Initiate new business development efforts with OEMs and key end users.
• Formulate growth strategies for Mexico, Central America, and the Andean region.
• Strengthen customer relationships and uncover new commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate customer-facing initiatives that involve Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Technical Service teams.
• Represent Nomex® during customer meetings, industry associations, and events.
• Provide competitive, customer, and market insights to internal stakeholders.
• Allocate approximately 80% of time to new business development and 20% to enhancing existing accounts.
• Manage opportunities using Salesforce CRM and other commercial tools.
• Report to the Latin America Sales Manager while collaborating with regional and U.S. teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, or relevant industrial sectors.
• Strong prospecting and business development ("hunter") mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain opportunity pipelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Proficient in working effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout Latin America, including international travel.
• Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.
• Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
• Proficient business English is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Background in working with OEMs, utilities, EPC firms, electrical infrastructure clients, or in industrial manufacturing contexts.
• Knowledge of transformers, power distribution systems, substations, data centers, renewable energy, or EV infrastructure.
• Capability to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Experience navigating multiple countries and cultures within Latin America.
