This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +4 more states.
• Comprehend and convey to internal stakeholders the fundamental architecture and applications of Data Centers while linking them to ABB Low Voltage Drive Products.
• Identify and prioritize significant potential business development opportunities amounting to $50M or more for the drives business unit within HVACR Key Accounts.
• Grasp the industry dynamics, the decision-making process, and the key influencers involved in product specifications and purchasing decisions regarding the motor and VFD “Approved Vendor List” definitions and inclusion.
• The ultimate goal is to position ABB as the preferred supplier within the industry.
• Collaborate with other ABB Divisions and the Industry Team to cultivate sales opportunities.
• Build robust working relationships across the stakeholder landscape, including C Suite executives at key customer organizations as needed.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in a technical discipline with 8 years of relevant experience or an Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a complex business setting selling technical products to data centers.
• Strong understanding of motor and drive systems as well as the HVACR market.
• Knowledge of products and markets related to Drives in HVACR systems and applications.
• Awareness of customer needs and experience in customer engagement.
• Proficient in spoken and written English with effective communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, the Microsoft Office suite, and SFDC.
• This position involves 40% domestic travel.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must already have work authorization allowing them to work for ABB in the US.
