This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Sales Opportunity Development: Identify and cultivate sales opportunities within both new and existing customer sectors throughout the DACH region.
• Market Evaluation: Recognize potential targets, define ideal customer profiles, and explore market opportunities while assessing areas for sales growth.
• Strategic Presentations: Deliver strategic proposals to facilitate new business revenue expansion and market development.
• Commercial Negotiations: Collaborate with clients on pricing, proposals, and commercial discussions under the guidance of the Head of Sales.
• Sales Projections: Leverage data and sales systems to generate monthly and annual sales forecasts for new business development.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Sales, production teams, and clients to maximize capacity and meet customer needs.
• Customer Journey Oversight: Manage CRM, order books, and accounting systems, including quotations, technical advice, and order processing.
• Market Engagement: Represent the company at regional design events, presentations, and client meetings.
• Production Coordination: Communicate with production teams to synchronize stock availability with forecasts and confirmed orders.
• Travel Obligations: Engage in regular travel within the DACH region and occasional trips to Wales for factory visits and training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (consideration will be given to relevant professional experience as a substitute).
• Several years of experience in Business Development/New Business Sales within architecture, interior design, building materials, or design-led manufacturing.
• A strong interest or knowledge in sustainability is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated capability to generate new business within specification-led markets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Confident in presenting to architects, designers, and commercial stakeholders, with the ability to convey technical details clearly.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all work-related activities.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (C1/C2), both spoken and written.
• Flexible and willing to go beyond defined boundaries to support business growth.
• Prepared for frequent travel within the DACH region and occasional visits to Wales.
