• Develop and implement strategies to expand existing collectibles subcategories.
• Recruit and engage high-potential sellers.
• Connect with new leads through outbound emails, social media, phone calls, and in-person visits.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with strategic sellers by providing coaching and tactical support.
• Represent Palmstreet at industry events and within collector communities.
• Collaborate with the Head of Collectibles to establish strategies for core and emerging subcategories.
• Identify and explore new category opportunities by analyzing market data, seller signals, and buyer behaviors.
• Lead go-to-market activities for promising new subcategories: source initial sellers, develop marketing strategies, set early benchmarks, and determine whether to invest further or pivot.
• Translate insights into recommendations on category structure, marketing investments, and product requirements.
• Maintain a clear perspective on competitive positioning across all collectibles categories.
• Promote Palmstreet through discovery and closing calls (both virtual and in-person) and onboard new sellers from initial contact through their first livestream.
• Manage a pipeline of potential sellers within the collectibles ecosystem, ranging from established category leaders to emerging sellers with category-building potential.
• Balance personalized onboarding for strategic accounts with scalable support for inbound or early-stage sellers.
• Achieve specific performance targets: GMV growth across your group of strategic sellers/subcategories, number of new sellers acquired, onboarded, and live, as well as new buyer growth and retention.
• Discover innovative methods to source new leads through digital outreach, trade shows, partnerships, and referrals.
• Work collaboratively across functions with marketing, product, and go-to-market teams to shape growth strategies and campaign involvement.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally within a marketplace or at early- to mid-stage startups.
• Strategic thinker capable of identifying, testing, and scaling new opportunities rather than simply executing a predefined playbook.

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficient in tools such as Hubspot or similar CRM systems.

• Generous contribution to health insurance (for you & dependents).
• Dental and vision insurance.
• Life insurance coverage.
• 12 paid holidays, plus Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Days.
• 401(k) plan with company matching.
• Reimbursement for remote work expenses.
• Work From Home setup and Learning & Development stipend.
