This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +5 more states.
• Advocate for and specify Siteworks product lines among civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site development engineers throughout the United States.
• Establish trench drain solutions as a fundamental part of design within engineering specifications.
• Propel market penetration and drive overall sales growth.
• Identify and connect with key civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers nationwide.
• Develop and sustain relationships with engineers, specifiers, and design professionals.
• Educate engineers about Siteworks product offerings, including trench and interceptors.
• Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, technical seminars, and onsite training sessions.
• Position Zurn Siteworks as the primary design reference in project specifications.
• Evaluate project drawings and specifications for potential product substitution opportunities.
• Collaborate with manufacturer representatives and sales teams.
• Offer technical support and guidance to both internal teams and external partners.
• Utilize the company CRM to document interactions, monitor project specifications, and manage the opportunity pipeline.
• Relay job opportunities and project updates to pertinent team members.
• Leverage Dodge Construction Network and ConstructConnect to identify projects and track specifications.
• Provide insights on market trends, competitive activities, and specification challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing industry.
• Capacity to influence engineering specifications and drive product adoption.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to convey complex product information effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Active involvement in relevant industry associations is an advantage.
