Business Development Manager – Calibration, Certification and Metrology

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Meet or surpass the annual revenue objectives for the CCM service line.

β€’ Grow current accounts and seek out new client opportunities.

β€’ Formulate and execute sales strategies for instrument qualification and calibration services.

β€’ Discover new construction prospects utilizing industry websites, construction databases, trade publications, associations, filings, and market analysis.

β€’ Establish Eurofins CCM as a comprehensive alternative to OEM and fragmented third-party service agreements.

β€’ Offer multi-year recurring service contracts and oversee annual renewals.

β€’ Conduct face-to-face client meetings and lead discussions with stakeholders.

β€’ Aim for 15 in-person client meetings monthly with decision-makers.

β€’ Maintain the opportunity pipeline within the CRM system.

β€’ Follow up on proposals and document the details of opportunity closures.

β€’ Provide monthly reports on wins, losses, and ongoing opportunities to sales and operational leadership.

β€’ Support CCM program management and convert client requirements into technical work scopes that comply with NIST, ANSI, and ISO/IEC standards.

β€’ Facilitate transition meetings with project management and operations teams.

β€’ Keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates.

β€’ Participate in industry conferences and trade shows to network and promote services.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration.

β€’ At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in instrument calibration/metrology services.

β€’ Background in selling recurring service contracts and/or asset management programs.

β€’ Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements pertaining to instrument qualification/calibration (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI).

β€’ Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

β€’ Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.

β€’ Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.

β€’ Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as required.
