Business Development Manager – Calibration, Certification and Metrology

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Meet or surpass the yearly revenue goals for the CCM service line by enhancing current accounts and seeking new ones.

β€’ Create and execute focused sales strategies for instrument qualification and calibration services.

β€’ Discover new construction opportunities using industry websites, construction databases, trade publications, associations, government filings, and market research reports.

β€’ Establish Eurofins CCM as a comprehensive alternative to OEM and disjointed third-party service contracts.

β€’ Market multi-year recurring service agreements and oversee annual renewals.

β€’ Conduct in-person client meetings, guide stakeholder discussions, and secure CCM contracts.

β€’ Aim for 15 in-person client meetings each month with decision-makers.

β€’ Keep the opportunity pipeline updated in the CRM system.

β€’ Follow up on pending proposals and document opportunity closure details.

β€’ Provide monthly reports on wins, losses, and open opportunities to sales and operational leadership.

β€’ Support CCM program management by converting client requirements into technical work scopes that comply with NIST, ANSI, and ISO/IEC standards.

β€’ Organize hand-off meetings with project management and operations teams.

β€’ Keep track of industry trends, competitor actions, and changes in regulations.

β€’ Participate in industry conferences and trade shows to network and showcase services.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration.

β€’ At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in instrument calibration or metrology services.

β€’ Experience in selling recurring service contracts and/or asset management programs.

β€’ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to instrument qualification and calibration (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI).

β€’ Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

β€’ Willingness to travel a minimum of 40% of the time.

β€’ Legal authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without any restrictions or sponsorship.

β€’ Availability Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
