This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of potential clients utilizing CRM software.
• Generate and assess leads through networking, cold calls, social media, and outreach within the industry.
• Build connections with key decision-makers at new host employers and pinpoint upsell possibilities.
• Arrange and conduct meetings (including in-person) to evaluate client requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Organize and lead speaking presentations at both local and national events.
• Investigate industry trends to uncover new opportunities for business growth.
• Forge and maintain strong client relationships through proactive networking and the development of partnerships.
• Keep an eye on market and industry trends to stay competitive.
• Maintain a solid understanding of company offerings, market standing, and competitors.
• Negotiate and finalize business agreements that generate sustained revenue, collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
• Secure J-1 training agreements with new host employers, ensuring full compliance with all visa regulations.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales-oriented position.
• Consistent record of sales success.
• Experience in service sales as opposed to product sales.
• Proven success with telephone and video-based selling.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and rapport creation.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Hospitality experience (hotels, restaurants, country clubs) is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Over 2 years of demonstrated sales experience in business development or a related field is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and achieve goals.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic or high-pressure settings.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
