This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, engaging in communication with clients from various sectors such as automotive, mobility, drones, power tools, and device manufacturers, while managing proposals and projects.
• Conduct necessary activities including presentations to customers, negotiations with both domestic and international clients, and reviewing contracts (both in English and Japanese) with support from legal counsel.
• Share customer requirements and feedback with team members and technical staff, facilitating collaboration and supporting the development activities of technical personnel.
• Analyze and reflect on information such as market reports that incorporate customer feedback and technical perspectives to contribute to strategic planning and valuable proposals for clients.
• Disseminate useful industry trend information to the team.
• Assist in fundraising activities.
• Perform essential support tasks required for business advancement.
• English proficiency: (1) Equivalent to CEFRL B2 or higher, or (2) TOEIC score of 900 or above.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Science or Engineering.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in one of the following areas: technical development roles that include sales or customer support within the manufacturing industry.
• (Preferred) Experience related to lithium-ion batteries in academia or corporate settings, particularly in sales or customer support roles.
• Experience involved with large-scale sales contracts with major manufacturers in the manufacturing sector.
