Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Enhance and nurture business relationships with current customers to drive sustainable revenue and market share growth in alignment with the global company strategy.

• Support and develop partnerships with customers including electrical installers, wholesalers, planners, architects, project managers, and public institutions.

• Proactively acquire new customers and refine the existing customer base to maximize business opportunities.

• Independently oversee the financial performance of the sales territory with an emphasis on profitability.

• Nationwide travel required for major customer and end-user projects throughout Switzerland, particularly for strategically important tenders and project phases.

• Collaborate closely with sales management, inside sales, and related specialist departments to ensure a seamless sales process.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational technical or technical-commercial qualification complemented by substantial sales experience in complex, consultative technical products.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, professional demeanor, and a strong focus on closing deals.

• Independent, organized, and solution-oriented approach to work with a high level of initiative.

• Ideally, experience in the lighting or related technical sectors.

• Proficient use of tender systems such as SIMAP and familiarity with relevant project processes.

• Strong command of German and English, both spoken and written.

• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and eagerness to actively cultivate the sales region.
