This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Overseeing business development initiatives throughout Europe for Smithers MDT services
• Aiming to attract and secure new clients within the medical device, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries
• Creating and implementing strategic account plans to establish enduring partnerships and maximize spending share
• Cultivating a valuable, data-oriented sales pipeline utilizing our CRM and forecasting tools
• Assisting with marketing initiatives and representing Smithers at industry conferences and client engagements
• Serving as the commercial representative for Smithers MDT – both in external client interactions and within our global teams
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical B2B sales, business development, or consulting
• Demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding business in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical sectors
• Familiarity with outsourced services, testing, or regulatory consultancy is a significant advantage
• Strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and an innate ability to foster trust with stakeholders
• Willingness to engage in regular international travel, both independently and as part of a global team
• A bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
