• **Responsibilities**
• We are looking for a full-time, results-oriented Business Development Manager for Germany (independent contractor) to join our international team. This position is vital for our company's growth by identifying and seizing new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven history in business development within emerging or untapped markets.
• Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth market research, cultivating strong client relationships, and crafting customized business strategies that align with our organizational objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams at our headquarters in Belgium, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure the smooth establishment and execution of growth initiatives. You will report to the Region Manager for Nordics/Netherlands/DACH. This role presents an exciting chance to influence the future of our business by driving expansion into new territories, increasing brand visibility, and ultimately boosting revenue streams. If you are passionate about building business from the ground up, fostering innovation, analyzing markets, and developing new partnerships, you will excel in this role where your contributions are directly tied to our company’s international growth aspirations.
• - Identify and assess opportunities in the German market to foster business growth.
• - Develop and implement strategic plans to effectively penetrate the German market.
• - Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• - Conduct market research and analysis to support informed decision-making.
• - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to customize promotional strategies for Germany.
• - Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business partnerships.
• - Assist new customers in the implementation of projects.
• - Prepare regular reports on business development progress and market insights.
• - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• - At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in the EV charging sector or new market acquisition.
• - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
• - Highly self-motivated with a focus on results and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• - Based in Nordrhein-Westfalen with the ability to travel across Germany as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
• - Familiarity with CRM software.
