Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Client acquisition - Generate new opportunities and upsell to existing customers. You will oversee the complete sales cycle, from outreach to demonstration and closing deals.

• Achieving sales KPIs and targets - Strive to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals while ensuring all sales are concluded in a timely manner.

• Presentation and negotiation – Prepare precise quotes and craft proposals to present to clients in a polished and confident way. Negotiate contracts as necessary, ensuring a balance between optimal service and value for the client alongside SiteMinder's profit margins.

• CRM maintenance – Keep accurate records of your business development efforts within SiteMinder's CRM system.

• Client feedback – Relay client insights on products to the Product Team to facilitate product reviews based on this feedback.

• Partner management – Collaborate with local industry groups and travel associations to promote SiteMinder’s products and brand. Attend key events and functions, which may require occasional travel to client locations for meetings with relevant managers.

• Propel new business development in Ecuador, establishing SiteMinder’s market presence.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in new business acquisition, ideally within the SaaS (software-as-a-service) sector, managing the entire sales cycle.

• A background in the industry is a significant advantage (hotel tech, OTA, revenue management).

• Self-motivated and resilient, demonstrating commitment and effort on a daily basis.

• Growth mindset - receptive to feedback and coaching.

• Proficient level of English.
