This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet sales objectives and enhance presence within the designated territory.
• Onboard new partners, such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs, while offering comprehensive system training.
• Establish and nurture robust, enduring relationships with both new and existing partners.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of partners, providing first-level support.
• Follow up with current partners to deliver system training and identify opportunities for enhancing collaboration.
• Prepare, implement, and manage commercial agreements with partners, ensuring proper document flow and technical setup.
• Monitor partners' adherence to commercial conditions, including payment processes.
• Allocate approximately 50% of work time to business travel, including client meetings, industry events, and other business-related activities.
• Conduct market and competitive environment analyses.
• Deliver regular, comprehensive reports via CRM and internal systems.
• Initiate API agreements with potential and existing partners.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in the complete sales life cycle within the travel industry, emphasizing business development and account management for B2B companies.
• Profound knowledge of the region's travel market, encompassing B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs).
• Proficient in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time may be necessary.
• Familiar with data-driven decision-making, metrics-oriented, and proficient with numbers.
• Self-driven, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-oriented, with a keen interest in innovative technology, and comfortable in a rapidly evolving business landscape, while being a team player.
• Ability to understand and engage across diverse cultural contexts reflective of ETG’s global footprint.
• Experience in API technology agreements is a plus.
