Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Identify, onboard, and cultivate new broker accounts throughout Victoria, establishing a robust and sustainable pipeline.

• Develop and implement territory and sales strategies aimed at driving growth, enhancing market share, and maximizing portfolio performance.

• Foster and enhance relationships with brokers and aggregator partners to encourage engagement, utilization, and wallet share.

• Advocate for Plenti’s Personal Loan and Automotive products, ensuring a strong brand presence in the market.

• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to brokers to enhance product knowledge, conversion rates, and overall performance.

• Monitor broker performance, analyze trends, and execute strategies to optimize volume, quality, and outcomes.

• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and guide strategy.

• Represent Plenti at industry events, acting as a key brand ambassador.

• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for brokers and customers.

• Take full responsibility for your territory, working independently while also contributing to the success of the broader team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Business Development within the financial services sector.

• Experience collaborating with brokers, aggregators, or third-party distribution channels.

• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.

• Established network within the broker or aggregator community (highly valued).

• Strong understanding of lending products and credit assessment processes.

• Confident communicator with excellent influencing and negotiation abilities.

• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
