Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate sales opportunities through research, lead generation, and outbound sales initiatives.

• Establish and nurture relationships with brokers (warm leads) for sustained success.

• Oversee a portfolio of brokers in designated regions.

• Promote the brand in NSW and represent the business at professional development events, webinars, and in daily interactions with external stakeholders.

• Assist in the onboarding process and provide support to new brokers.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Meet sales objectives through effective growth strategies and outstanding service.

• Efficiently manage outbound calls, virtual and in-person meetings, as well as the sales pipeline.

• Utilize CRM software (Dynamics) proficiently for data entry and activity tracking.

• Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads and opportunities.

• Participate in industry events and development days to enhance networking and brand visibility.

• Conduct analysis of competitors, market trends, and methods for lead acquisition.

• Partner with Credit & Broker Support teams and colleagues to share knowledge and maximize sales potential.

• Assist in the training and development of fellow team members.

• Actively engage in team discussions and meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• A current and valid driver’s license is required for conducting face-to-face visits with brokers.

• A University Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field of study.

• Over 7 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales (or similar roles). Prior experience in banking or non-banking lending sectors is preferred.

• Experience in a goal-oriented and target-driven sales position.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, would be highly beneficial.
