This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Engage in business development across Malaysia within the water and wastewater treatment sectors, catering to both Industrial and Municipal applications.
• Oversee sales activities and manage key accounts throughout Malaysia.
• Foster strong relationships with OEMs in Water/Wastewater treatment, EPCCs, resellers, product distributors, end users, and consultants to pinpoint and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Create effective sales channels for NX membrane products, specifically UF and HFNF.
• Collaborate closely with the sales channel to secure new business ventures for membrane product sales tailored for replacement and greenfield projects.
• Monitor market intelligence regarding emerging opportunities and competitive landscape to devise successful sales strategies.
• Operate independently to identify viable business prospects and manage the sales process through to order fulfillment.
• Serve as the Salesforce administrator, maintaining opportunity updates in collaboration with all APAC Sales personnel.
• Provide support to the APAC team with order management by coordinating with the NX sales support team.
• A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Management, Science, or Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales and business development within the water and wastewater treatment industry in Malaysia, preferably within Southeast Asia.
• Familiarity with OEMs and the application of membrane systems for water purification, wastewater reuse, and recycling for both municipal and industrial end users in sectors such as Power, Semiconductors, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Datacentres, and other industries.
• Proficient in Salesforce with a focus on data discipline, order processing, and reporting.
• Capability to translate customer requirements into clear internal actions while coordinating stakeholders across various functions.
• Possess strong sales/commercial acumen with a structured, detail-oriented execution style (Hands-on).
