This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Meet established sales and margin objectives within the designated territory through effective pipeline management and consistent utilization of CRM tools.
• Enhance and grow the territory by creating new project specifications, discovering opportunities, and establishing a sustainable business pipeline.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with distributors, engineers, municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies to foster long-term business development.
• Implement strategic territory planning by assessing market dynamics, tracking competitors, and formulating precise sales forecasts.
• Act as the organization’s representative in the field by providing technical education and engaging stakeholders throughout the territory while managing regular travel obligations.
• Propel project specifications ahead of the bidding phase, ensuring that products are positioned early in the sales cycle before transferring to sales and distribution channels.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales, engineering, or business development within water infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
• Experience in municipal, engineering, or contractor-driven sales environments, with exposure to tanks or water-related solutions.
• A degree in civil engineering is preferred; a background in mechanical engineering or a related technical field will also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and relationships with engineers and industry stakeholders.
• Proven track record in sales and margin management, pricing, bidding, and specification development.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong skills in communication, business planning, and market analysis.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting and travel extensively within the territory (up to 50%).
• Familiarity with regional markets and existing industry connections is viewed as a plus.
