This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.
• Accountable for driving year-on-year sales growth in the territory, ensuring a consistent pipeline of new opportunities and achieving a high close rate.
• Systematically and proactively develop the existing customer base and distribution sales by leveraging insights from POS data analytics and Warm Leads to stimulate demand.
• Deliver the overall value proposition while expanding the current customer base and increasing the number of SKUs purchased.
• Create new demand by demonstrating success in closing opportunities related to products and Value-Added/Bespoke solutions.
• Provide education and training to distributors and their end users on our products when necessary to amplify sales efforts and growth.
• Promote new products and identify opportunities for new products through engagement with end customers and key distribution partners.
• Support marketing initiatives by offering market insights and customer feedback while participating in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
• Establish, track, and report on performance metrics for Independent Representatives.
• Responsible for nurturing and managing strong relationships with key decision-makers at end-customer organizations.
• Achieve and/or surpass sales and activity targets.
• Report on status and monitor opportunities through Global CRM (Salesforce.com), providing monthly updates.
• A strong technical background is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an electromechanical sales environment.
• A dynamic, self-driven individual with a high energy level and a proven ability to generate new sales.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the capability to foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, prospects, and colleagues.
• Experience or knowledge in OEM, Independent Rep, and Distribution sales.
• A successful track record in sales generation and conducting joint sales calls with our distribution network.
• Excellent project and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects at once.
• Proactive, results-oriented, autonomous, and motivated by the potential for business growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in using CRM (Salesforce.com) for performance management and reporting.
• Proven problem analysis and resolution skills at both strategic and functional levels.
