This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• You will report to the Senior Lead for the France and Benelux Territory, addressing a variety of complex challenges that necessitate the analysis of multiple factors within a structured sales framework.
• Your background will include experience in Defence digital or intelligence, a strong understanding of Defence's intelligence and/or digital operating model, an active network, business acumen, and familiarity with solution selling.
• You will have the connections to engage with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders, enabling you to establish trusted and lasting relationships across the territory.
• By utilizing Janes Sales Methodology and Processes, you will proactively oversee your sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and ultimately drive new business growth.
• You will collaborate with European Business Development colleagues, Customer Success Managers, Product teams, Marketing, and Demand Generation personnel to create and manage lead-generation and customer outreach action plans within specific segments, identifying and delivering new business and growth opportunities both in the short term (12-18 months) and long term (2+ years).
• You will provide insights that influence customer decision-making by articulating the Janes Value Proposition.
• You will recognize the importance of taking time to understand each client's unique needs and tailoring solutions to meet those requirements.
• Travel within the Territory is required.
• Demonstrated experience in sales/business development within Defence Industry and National Security contexts.
• Extensive subject matter expertise, networks, and knowledge within the European Defence Industry and/or National Security sectors.
• Prior experience engaging with industry partners in the defence community and an understanding of their business needs and pipelines/portfolios.
• Familiarity with the common challenges faced by analysts in Defence and National Security sectors.
• Knowledge of Defence procurement processes is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities. You should be well-organized, adaptable, resilient, and possess a positive self-starter mindset.
• Capability to develop and communicate an understanding of Janes Group UK Limited's value proposition.
• A relevant university degree or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.
• Security Clearance is a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English is necessary (additional languages are a plus).
