This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Generate, develop, and finalize sales opportunities with public sector organizations within the designated territory.
• Comprehend complex customer needs related to CRM, self-service, digital transformation, consultation, engagement, and communications in the public sector.
• Create and independently deliver tailored presentations on Granicus solutions to transform the prospect's interaction and engagement with the public.
• Formulate effective strategies to excel in a competitive landscape.
• Oversee internal resources, including sales support, marketing, and solution architects/consultants, to present a persuasive case to prospects.
• Address RFPs, PQQs, and Tenders by leading the completion of bid documentation to secure new contracts.
• Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Manage all facets of sales in your territory, encompassing prospecting, activity tracking, opportunity management, revenue forecasting, contract management, and closing deals.
• Pursue leads generated by both your efforts and our inbound and outbound marketing initiatives.
• Assist the management team in crafting sales strategies.
• Document all conversations, activities, and emails within our Salesforce CRM.
• Prepare and present quarterly business reviews to Sales Management and Senior Management.
• Over 3 years of field sales experience in CRM, Self-Service, Transformation, CMS, Digital Communications, or Consultation/Engagement solutions.
• Proven history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets, with the ability to demonstrate how your personal approach to planning, forecasting, and execution has contributed to this success.
• Understanding of the UK government or public sector.
• Confident, competitive, meticulous, flexible, and determined.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple active opportunities and meet sales objectives.
• Able to sell a diverse range of deal values as part of a varied sales pipeline.
• Goal-oriented and self-driven.
• Successful in working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Enthusiastic about handling multiple simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Independently accountable for commitments and excel in performance through intelligent prioritization.
• Proven ability and enthusiasm for prospecting, frequently entering new accounts.
• Passionate about the success of the public sector.
• Client-focused, with a strong desire and ability to understand client needs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Significant achievements in selling enterprise software, CRM, SaaS, Marketing/Communications, CMS, or Engagement/Consultation Technology.
• Experience selling to Central and/or Local Government entities.
• Impressive track record of engaging with C-Level executives.
• Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement.
• Familiarity with public sector Digital Communication and Citizen Engagement.
• Understanding of Digital Transformation strategies and supporting technologies, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
