This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Perform extensive market analysis to pinpoint significant trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth avenues in the education technology sector in Thailand.
• Establish both short-term and long-term objectives, detailing precise milestones and success indicators.
• Forge and nurture strategic alliances with local educational institutions, government agencies, and key stakeholders to amplify market penetration.
• Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with prospective B2B clients (companies, schools, English centers) in Thailand, utilizing traditional methods (such as cold/warm calls and emails, networking) and innovative marketing campaigns (in collaboration with the marketing team) to stimulate revenue growth.
• Work in tandem with the product team and customer support team to provide tailored product solutions and high-quality services.
• Consistently monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with business development and market growth.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• An MBA is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in Business Development or similar positions, particularly within the EdTech sector.
• Practical experience with various sales techniques (including cold calling) and delivering compelling presentations.
• Strong comprehension of the Thai education landscape.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in English and a strong command of Thai is highly preferred.
