This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing within a designated UK territory, working towards specified revenue goals.
• Create new business opportunities through outbound calls, networking, and following up on marketing-qualified leads.
• Develop a thorough understanding of each prospect's needs by engaging with multiple stakeholders, not just the gatekeeper.
• Provide persuasive on-site and online software demonstrations customized for each audience.
• Draft precise and professional proposals and pricing; negotiate effectively to maximize profit margins.
• Smoothly transition signed agreements to the project management team for implementation.
• Maintain a well-organized and current pipeline in the company CRM, ensuring that opportunities, contacts, meeting notes, and next steps accurately reflect reality.
• Deliver regular and insightful sales forecasts and pipeline reports to the Managing Director.
• Relay market intelligence back to the company: what are prospects requesting, and what actions are competitors taking?
• Serve as the main point of contact for a select portfolio of existing accounts.
• Conduct regular account review meetings to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
• Earn commission on both account sales and new business.
• Participate in annual new business planning and revenue budgeting.
• Represent Kudos in a professional manner at all times, both in writing and in person.
• Demonstrated B2B field sales experience, with a proven history of independent prospecting and achieving targets.
• Comfortable selling technology; experience with software, SaaS, or EPOS/payments is a significant advantage.
• Confident and credible communicator: effective on the phone, in a boardroom, or when presenting to a group of stakeholders.
• A self-starter who excels with independence; target-driven and resilient during challenging pipeline periods.
• Natural relationship builder — you are an attentive listener, read social cues well, and foster genuine connections with prospects and clients.
• Strong numerical skills; capable of constructing and presenting pricing clearly and advocating for your margin.
• Organized and disciplined regarding CRM maintenance — you understand that a clean pipeline is a productive pipeline.
• Experience or knowledge in Charity Retail, Furniture Reuse, Caravan, or Marine sectors.
• Familiarity with retail technology, POS systems, or payment solutions.
• Formal sales qualification (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, or similar).
