This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume complete responsibility for business development initiatives in Germany and Austria.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies that achieve measurable growth and enhance our presence in the region.
• Identify, assess, and secure new opportunities — from initial contact through to contract execution.
• Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and related sectors.
• Convert client requirements into customized PSS service solutions that provide value and foster long-term partnerships.
• Spearhead proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contracting procedures with assistance from senior management.
• Work closely with Key Account Managers, site leaders, and global teams to optimize cross-selling and strategic alignment.
• Deliver precise sales forecasts, maintain pipeline visibility, and ensure CRM-compliant reporting.
• Represent Eurofins PSS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance our brand visibility.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying new service opportunities and market trends.
• A degree in Life Sciences or a comparable business/vocational qualification; additional training in business or finance is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in business development, preferably within the pharmaceutical or GxP-regulated sectors.
• Demonstrated success in selling complex service solutions to senior decision-makers.
• Experience in insourcing, outsourcing, managed services, or laboratory services is highly beneficial.
• Solid understanding of product commercialization, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and related testing/service requirements.
• Proficient in both German and English communication skills.
• Ability to influence across different functions, collaborate across sites, and establish strong internal and external networks.
• Possess credibility and confidence when engaging with senior leadership.
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on commercial approach.
• High energy, resilience, and a passion for entering new markets and acquiring new clients.
• Active participation in strategic projects and interaction with senior leaders throughout Eurofins.
