This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Engage in Prospecting & New Business Development: Actively identify and source qualified prospects through various channels including events, social outreach, referrals, and your existing network within the ecommerce sector, such as Amazon sellers, DTC, Shopify operators, TikTok Shop brands, and related founders who fit the MDS criteria.
• Conduct outbound campaigns and personalized outreach to connect with high-potential founders who may not yet be aware of MDS or have not applied, transitioning them from awareness to conversation.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Membership Growth Manager on shared pipeline, prospect intelligence, and outreach strategy, ensuring the team effectively targets the right individuals without overlap.
• Identify and bring new segments and opportunities to the team's attention when you discover promising founders worth pursuing. Your input is valued for generating ideas, not just executing tasks.
• Manage your discovery calls from start to finish, including booking, qualifying, presenting the value of MDS authentically, addressing objections, and guiding suitable founders through the application process.
• Engage in genuine conversations instead of scripted pitches. MDS members are accomplished founders who can easily discern a canned approach. You ask insightful questions, listen attentively, and assess fit honestly.
• Maintain a steady call volume that supports achieving your monthly targets. You take charge of your own time and pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of qualified conversations.
• Follow up diligently and personally with interested prospects who are not yet ready. You ensure that warm leads do not go cold due to insufficient follow-through.
• Represent MDS at industry events and tradeshows (such as Amazon Accelerate, Prosper Show, SellerCon, ShipBob Summit, and similar) as a relationship-builder and pipeline generator.
• Transform in-person discussions into pipeline entries with same-day GHL logging and a follow-up action established for every qualified contact before departing the event floor.
• Participate in MDS events as a connector, building relationships with current members and identifying referral opportunities within the community.
• Highlight events worth attending that are not yet on the team's radar based on your market observations. You serve as a source of field intelligence, not just a field executor.
• Manage your own pipeline in Go High Level with clean data, accurate stages, and timely follow-ups. The team should be able to see your pipeline status at any time.
• Implement multi-channel follow-up sequences (email, SMS, personal outreach) that keep qualified founders engaged without being aggressive or generic.
• Monitor your own conversion metrics at each stage, including call-to-application rates, time to close, and win/loss reasons, using this data to refine your approach over time.
• Establish a visible presence in the ecommerce founder ecosystem through social content, event participation, and authentic relationship-building so that qualified founders recognize you before you reach out.
• Collaborate with marketing as needed on content or campaigns that raise awareness among targeted founder segments. You contribute your insights while they handle execution.
• Relay founder insights back to the team from your calls and events, including common objections, key interests of founders, and market changes. You are a frontline source of intelligence.
• Minimum of 3 years in sales, business development, or a community-facing role with a proven record of achieving individual targets, not just team averages.
• Direct ecommerce experience either by managing your own brand, working at an ecommerce company, or in a related industry (agency, SaaS, 3PL, platform) with deep exposure to sellers. You understand this landscape.
• Proficient knowledge of Amazon, DTC, Shopify, and TikTok Shop at a level that allows for strategic conversations with seven-figure sellers without needing explanations.
• Proven history of closing high-ticket memberships, partnerships, or B2B deals. We expect specifics: the clients you sold to, the deal sizes, and your conversion rates.
• Practical experience with CRM, ideally in Go High Level or similar. You know how to manage your own pipeline rather than just working with leads assigned to you.
• Charismatic and naturally relational; people enjoy conversing with you and remember you after just one meeting. You exhibit genuine curiosity about other businesses.
• Self-motivated and accountable, with the discipline to generate your own pipeline and meet targets without constant supervision.
• Willingness to travel regularly to events and represent MDS on-site.
• Preferred: An established network within the Amazon, Shopify, or TikTok Shop seller community, where contacts know you and would take your call. This is a significant advantage in this role.
• Personal experience as an ecommerce seller or brand operator, as lived experiences lend credibility with our ideal members.
• A personal brand or growing visibility in the ecommerce space through social content, podcast appearances, or community engagement.
• Experience with membership communities, masterminds, or high-ticket group offers, allowing for an intuitive understanding of the value proposition, which you can articulate without a script.
• Familiarity with multi-channel outreach sequences, including email, SMS, and social DMs, executed in a coordinated and personalized manner.
