This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and oversee a qualified pipeline exceeding $2.5M by utilizing your established connections and proactive outreach techniques.
• Identify, seek out, and secure new client contracts in custom software, focusing on consultative and relationship-based sales.
• Take charge of the sales process by spearheading new opportunities and involving other team members as necessary.
• Travel frequently to engage with clients, participate in conferences, and conduct in-person meetings to build trust and explore new opportunities.
• Maintain an organized and transparent pipeline in Pipedrive, ensuring accurate forecasting and disciplined reporting.
• Establish Make as a trusted advisor, assisting clients in understanding how AI-first software solutions can revolutionize their businesses.
• Proven experience in selling custom software deals with a total value of $1M or more.
• Demonstrated success in business development for custom software/services, including managing consultative sales cycles.
• Strong existing network of client relationships that can be activated immediately.
• Capability to lead discussions with clients regarding their software requirements.
• Willingness to travel frequently for conferences, client visits, and industry events.
• Strategic and creative approach to business development that goes beyond simple cold calling.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on CRM, data management, and follow-through.
