This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Sales Execution: Assist in the implementation of ILAC’s sales strategies tailored for Japan to enhance student enrollment and bolster brand visibility in the area.
• Agent & Partner Engagement: Establish, nurture, and fortify connections with education agents, school counselors, and other essential partners.
• Student Recruitment: Act as ILAC's representative at student fairs, school visits, and online events to advocate for programs and address student inquiries.
• Business Market Development: Recognize new opportunities and aid in forming new partnerships that align with ILAC’s recruitment objectives.
• Client Support: Deliver timely and accurate information to agents, students, and parents about ILAC’s programs, the admissions process, and visa requirements.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Sales and the wider international team to synchronize efforts, exchange insights, and support overall sales targets.
• Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor actions, and industry advancements to provide feedback and recommend local strategies.
• Reporting: Keep precise records of recruitment activities and regularly update on progress toward recruitment objectives.
• Experience: Background in Business Development, Sales, marketing, or international student recruitment, ideally within the education or language learning sectors.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of international education trends, agent networks, and the Canadian education system is a significant advantage.
• Cultural Understanding: Deep understanding of the cultural dynamics, business practices, and educational systems in Asia, especially in Japan.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to establish and sustain robust relationships at all levels.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese and English; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
