This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Identify, assess, and pursue business opportunities in particle size engineering or micronization within the designated account portfolio (including existing customers and potential clients).
• Recognize key decision-makers and influencers within accounts.
• Prepare thoroughly for calls and visits, proactively anticipating and addressing any obstacles.
• Document and validate customer requirements prior to presenting tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D and Contract Management to create and present quotes for project development work to clients.
• Work alongside management, commercial operations, legal, and finance teams to prepare and negotiate development agreements and all commercial supply agreements.
• Oversee the business relationships with assigned clients.
• Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, pricing strategies, contract renewals/amendments, forecasting, conducting periodic business review meetings, and addressing various customer service-related matters.
• BA/BS degree in a scientific discipline, business, or a related field (MS, MBA, or Ph.D. preferred).
• At least 3 years of combined experience in business development/sales and scientific/technical roles within the pharmaceutical contract service sales (CDMO), pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.
• Knowledge and experience with the proposal development process, business quotes, budgeting, and adhering to established timelines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, as well as negotiation skills, are essential.
