• Drive the strategy for category growth.
• Create and implement strategic growth initiatives for the designated technology category or vendor portfolio.
• Recognize emerging market trends, customer demands, and competitive factors to influence category direction.
• Take ownership of and achieve profitable growth, market expansion, and strategic goals.
• Expand new business opportunities within current accounts.
• Identify and chase new business prospects through existing partner relationships.
• Facilitate strategic discussions to enhance solution adoption and boost end-customer acquisition.
• Develop and implement account growth strategies that enhance depth and breadth within the assigned portfolios.
• Strengthen vendor and strategic partnerships.
• Build executive-level relationships with key vendors, strategic partners, and decision-makers.
• Negotiate advantageous business terms and collaborative growth strategies.
• Align vendor strategies with organizational objectives to promote profitable growth.
• Engage in solution selling and executive interaction.
• Direct consultative sales efforts across a comprehensive solution portfolio.
• Deliver strategic proposals to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with key partners to comprehend business goals and position solutions accordingly.
• Provide market and financial leadership.
• Conduct market analysis to pinpoint competitive positioning and whitespace opportunities.
• Utilize financial and business insights to manage forecasting, profitability, and financial solutions that benefit Ingram Micro and our partners.
• Oversee and drive year-over-year growth within assigned categories.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Work with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to synchronize on growth initiatives.
• Influence internal stakeholders to prioritize strategic opportunities.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or account management, preferably in technology, distribution, or related sectors.
• Proven success in driving year-over-year profitability growth.
• Strong negotiation capabilities and experience in closing complex, solution-oriented deals.
• Familiarity with profit and loss concepts, forecasting, and margin profiles.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Exceptional presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating with executive audiences and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for in-person engagements with vendors and partners.
