This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Drive SMB Growth β Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach, cold calling, and collaboration with partners.
β’ Consultative Selling β Utilize the Challenger Sales model to grasp client needs, provide insights, and create customized solutions.
β’ Pipeline Management β Maintain a categorized sales pipeline by sector, ensuring precise forecasting and prompt follow-up.
β’ Relationship Building β Oversee client relationships from the initial contact through post-sale integration, enhancing satisfaction and retention.
β’ Negotiation & Closing β Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize deals to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
β’ Market & Product Expertise β Keep abreast of Moneris solutions, industry trends, and competitive offerings to enhance sales strategies.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration β Work with internal teams (Credit, Marketing, Legal, Product) to ensure smooth execution and shared success.
β’ Sales Enablement β Utilize digital tools and comply with sales processes for effective reporting, documentation, and operational excellence.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline.
β’ Relevant work experience may be accepted as an equivalent substitution.
β’ 1-2 years of sales experience is considered advantageous.
β’ Previous experience in the payment industry is a plus.
β’ Understanding of sales reporting, tracking, and strategic selling processes.
β’ Proven ability to foster mid-tier level client relationships.
β’ Bilingual proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, and speaking).
