This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Overseeing and implementing outbound business development campaigns to actively identify and engage prospective partners.
• Establishing partnerships with both traditional and web3 game developers, recognizing mutually advantageous collaboration opportunities.
• Working alongside the broader team to develop persuasive partner proposals that highlight the value and advantages of collaborating with our organization.
• Managing and cultivating relationships with our current partners to ensure strong and productive partnerships.
• Collaborating with various teams across the Merit Circle departments, including product, gaming, tech integration, marketing, and operations, to facilitate smooth integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
• Supporting the Head of Business Development in daily tasks, which include maintaining CRM systems, tracking partner interactions, and generating reports to evaluate partnership performance.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a business development or partnership role within a web3 gaming organization.
• Existing connections with game developers, showcasing a robust network within the gaming industry.
• Above basic understanding of cryptocurrency, NFTs, and/or blockchain technology, along with their relevance and application in the gaming sector.
• Background with significant personal gaming experience or employment in the gaming industry, offering insights into the industry landscape.
• Familiarity with web3 games, having engaged with and tested them, and comprehending the challenges and advantages of web3 gaming.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with other organizations, utilizing interpersonal skills to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Exceptional command of spoken and written English, facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Proactive and adaptable availability, willing to adjust to changing circumstances and contribute as needed.
