Business Development Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage with coffee suppliers to gather details such as coffee specifics, pricing, farm data, and farm images in a systematic way.

• Perform market analysis on specialty coffee producers and origins, in addition to collecting information about coffee-related events.

• Assist in fostering relationships with green coffee suppliers in South and Central America.

• Collaborate with management and the sales team to identify coffee requirements and specific information requests.

• Oversee the preparation of offer lists and other commercial documents pertinent to the coffee sourcing process.

• Create and translate marketing materials for external communication with partners.

• Support the logistics team in handling transport and freight communications to ensure timely shipment movements.

• Travel to coffee origins and farms in South and Central America to expand the sourcing network.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish is essential.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.

• Capability and preference to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.

• Eagerness to learn and cultivate a career in the coffee industry.

• A team-oriented problem solver with an analytical mindset, adept at resourcefully creating solutions.

• Access to a laptop or computer along with a reliable, fast internet connection.

• Must reside in Colombia.
