Business Data Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of the Data Management Program within the designated business unit and deliver training to personnel in business lines and technology.

• Coordinate working groups focused on data management.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of data management practices and investigate current trends in the industry.

• Assess adherence to business and Enterprise Data Management policies and standards within the assigned units.

• Identify essential data elements and document associated metadata with the designated units.

• Track data quality through enterprise-wide KPIs/KRIs to guarantee effective management of data risks.

• Facilitate the resolution of issues related to data management.

• Examine large data sets to extract business insights and generate meaningful business value.

• Showcase the use of business and enterprise data management along with business intelligence tools.

• Comply with company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; recognize issues that need escalation.

• Foster an inclusive environment that mirrors the Bank's brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement recommendations from internal/external audits and relevant regulatory matters.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, or alternatively, a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and/or work experience, which includes at least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven analytical skills.

• Innovative problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong leadership in project management.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams at various organizational levels.

• Proficient in utilizing spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations, along with a working knowledge of financial models.

• Familiarity with data management practices and/or Bank products, systems, and workflows.

• Understanding of process improvement methodologies and business process management techniques.

• Proficient in relevant project and presentation software.

• Basic knowledge of SQL programming.
