Business Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver data analytics support to government clients.

• Conduct data extraction, cleansing, analysis, visualization, and narrative development.

• Collect business requirements, evaluate source systems, identify core data sources, and establish metadata for data analysis.

• Obtain and assess data and metrics for visualizations and dashboards.

• Collaborate with business units and project teams.

• Act as a subject matter expert in data visualization and business intelligence.

• Convert business analysis into prototype concepts for reports and dashboards.

• Document processes related to data acquisition, management, and governance.

• Develop training materials and facilitate training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of experience in government acquisition, finance, financial management, program management, or a related field within a Department of War organization.

• Proficiency in using Business Intelligence (BI) tools and self-service data visualization platforms such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Qlik View.

• Preferred experience with CCaR and/or PMRT.

• Preferred experience with DoW or DAF.

• Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, accounting, economics, or a related field (consideration may be given to relevant experience in lieu of education, specifically with seven or more years of applicable experience).
