This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Assist in the intake and monitoring of business control modifications
• Maintain visibility on the status of changes, approvals, and timelines
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely advancement through necessary steps
• Assess submitted documentation for completeness and compliance with established standards
• Ensure that required artifacts are present before stakeholder evaluation, including:
• Intake forms
• Impact summaries
• Supporting documentation
• Return incomplete or ambiguous submissions to business owners for correction
• Verify that affected teams have updated their procedures prior to implementation
• Confirm that documentation accurately represents the intended change at a high level
• Escalate gaps where procedures are lacking, outdated, or inconsistent
• Facilitate necessary reviews across relevant teams such as Compliance, IT, and Operations
• Monitor approvals and ensure all essential stakeholders are involved
• Document approval status and maintain comprehensive records
• Enforce standards of “no implementation without required approvals”
• Identify and escalate instances of non-compliance with control processes
• Promote consistent use of defined templates and workflows
• Keep organized and complete records of all control-related activities
• Ensure documentation is ready for audit and centrally accessible
• Track issues identified during the change process
• Follow up on outstanding items and escalate as necessary
• Support remediation tracking until closure
• May require completion of documentation before changes can proceed
• Can identify and escalate missing approvals or control deficiencies
• Cannot approve business decisions, strategies, or procedural content
• Operates within an established controls framework
• Focuses on execution and coordination
• No direct management responsibility
• Collaborates with business and functional teams to facilitate compliant change execution
• 3 to 6 years of experience in risk, compliance, operations, audit, or a related role within a regulated or process-oriented environment
• Experience in supporting process governance, change management, or control-related activities
• Familiarity with structured workflows, documentation standards, and approval processes
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documentation for completeness and consistency
• Organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams with effective tracking and follow-up
• Comfortable coordinating across teams and following up with stakeholders to drive timely responses
• Ability to identify gaps in documentation or process adherence and escalate appropriately
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting and tracking requirements
• Preferred experience with systems of record, workflow tools, or compliance tracking systems
• Exposure to financial services, lending, servicing, or similar regulated operations
• Experience in manufactured housing, specialty finance, or partner-based lending is a plus
