This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver comprehensive compliance control coverage for product launches, new features, maintenance, and support to enforce country-specific product restrictions within the designated product portfolio.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate and, when possible, facilitate product availability in markets where offerings are currently constrained.
• Proactively seek business opportunities for the designated product portfolio, producing documented regulatory analysis and necessary controls for business growth.
• Create compliance plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the business unit's objectives and the incorporation of best practices into products and services.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, global compliance teams, and local/regional Points of Contact (PoCs) and Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) to guarantee that controls are established, testing is finalized, and business launches occur on schedule and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes, evaluate their impact on products and controls, coordinate implementation, and provide advisory support and guidance to relevant business teams as necessary.
• Cultivate strong and effective relationships throughout the business to enhance the positive image of the Business Compliance Team and facilitate the efficient execution of work activities.
• Track and assess global regulatory developments affecting product offerings, and relay clear, actionable guidance to stakeholders. Provide assistance to the team with other products, as needed, to ensure contingency and global coverage.
• 5+ years of experience in Compliance/Regulatory Advisory supporting product launches in crypto, fintech, broker-dealer, exchange, derivatives venue, asset management, payments, or banking environments (global/cross-border experience is strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure compliant launches (requirements, controls, testing, go-live).
• Experience in establishing or managing country/jurisdiction product restriction frameworks (eligibility, geofencing, disclosures, leverage limits, KYC/AML gating, marketing constraints).
• Knowledge of crypto exchange products (custody vs non-custody, wallets, on-chain vs off-chain flows, listing lifecycle, stablecoins, DeFi/Web3 exposure).
• Ability to convert regulatory obligations into product requirements (user journeys, control points, monitoring, alerts, audit trails).
• Current knowledge of regulatory regimes and recent regulatory developments (e.g., MICA).
• Excellent adaptability, communication abilities, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience working independently and prioritizing multiple projects based on regulatory risk and business requirements.
• A keen interest in Web3 and an understanding of current regulatory discussions.
• Practical experience with implementing AI solutions for enhanced efficiency and controls is preferred.
