This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Cultivate profitable relationships with business accounts and enhance profitability from both existing and new clients.
• Recognize business opportunities by leveraging knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
• Deliver sales presentations to current and potential clients.
• Educate clients on the advantages of the organization's products and services to address their needs.
• Establish and sustain an effective referral network and outreach program to drive sales.
• Develop a robust portfolio through proactive prospecting and the development and utilization of Centers of Influence.
• Oversee pipeline activities with diligent follow-up and disciplined execution.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of pertinent work experience.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally, with occasional national travel.
• Previous experience in business card sales/payments.
• Strong sales skills and expertise in new business development.
• Capability to establish a book of business through proactive prospecting and leveraging Centers of Influence.
• Experience working with businesses generating $2.5MM or more in annual revenue.
• Proficient in credit analysis and financial assessment.
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles related to financial transactions.
• Ability to manage pipeline activities with consistent follow-up and execution discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of payment products.
• General knowledge of product marketing and organizational operations.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Compliance with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Must meet applicable employment eligibility and background-check standards.
